Some Background

This client visited our Portmore salon during her trip to Jamaica, based on recommendation from a client of ours. She wanted more symmetrical, but natural looking eye brows, which flowed well with her natural brow hairs.

Conditions and Desires

  • Skin Type: Normal
  • Skin Condition: Mature, Healthy
  • Skin Complexion: Dark (Fitzpatrick 5-6)
  • Brow Size: Thin
  • Brow Arch: Moderate-High

Our client requested a more natural looking brow shape with more definition in the brow tails/end and also the raising of the right brow to match the left.

Her Before: Asymmetrical Brows

Our Technique

The Brow Map

Microblading was the Permanent Makeup technique selected for this client as she required a natural end result, similar to brow hairs.

A portion of the right lower brow was removed to balance the eyebrows. We then decide the go with a thinner brow shape with moderate-high arch heights, in keeping with the natural brows.

A mixture of cool dark tones were selected and then neutralized a dark and ruddy tone.

Gentle pressure and adequate stretching was emphasized due to her mature skin condition.

Key Takeaway

Gentle asymmetries in the natural eyebrows can be easily corrected with Permanent Brow Makeup. Hair stroke techniques like Microblading (manual hairstrokes) or Nanobrows (machine hairstrokes) are perfect to provide a natural looking eyebrow congruent with brow hairs.
